What a virtual tour really does for you
A 360° virtual tour is the cheapest way to build trust before anyone picks up the phone.
Visible on Google
The finished tour runs on your own website. In addition, we publish the suitable panoramas to your Google Business Profile so they appear in Search and Maps. Google recommends photos explicitly, but decides for itself how they are displayed there.
Trust before the call
Anyone who has already seen the tidy workshop, the modern lift or the welcoming waiting room is more likely to call. For workshops, practices and offices in particular, that first impression decides.
Fewer follow-up questions
Where is the entrance? Is there parking? Can I get in with a walker? The virtual tour answers this before anyone asks, and takes the load off your phone.
Convince applicants
Showing the real workplace in a job ad works better than any adjective. One link in the ad is enough: applicants see where they would be working.

Website, Google profile, social media, quote PDFs, the screen at a trade fair. You receive all panoramas as files and may use them for your business without limit.

How an appointment works
It usually takes less than two weeks from the first message to the finished tour on Google.
Short initial call
On the phone, we clarify which rooms should be in the tour and when it is quiet at your place. Usually a quarter of an hour is enough.
Preparation
You do a rough tidy-up and switch the lights on, nothing more. You get a short checklist by email beforehand of what to put away.
On-site shoot
One to four hours, depending on the package. Your business keeps running as normal: we work quietly, without flash, and stay out of everyone's way.
Editing
Stitching the panoramas, matching the exposure, retouching anything distracting and linking the capture points into one tour. Takes 3 to 5 business days.
Publication
The linked tour goes onto your website. The individual panoramas are additionally published to your Google Business Profile — using your Google account, so the images stay yours. You also receive every file.

What we have covered
Aerial photography is not a hobby flight. Four things have to be in place, or nobody flies it properly. With us, they are.
EU remote pilot competency certificate A1/A3
The remote pilot certificate from the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (German Federal Aviation Office) is on file. For drones under 250 grams it isn't even mandatory. We have it anyway.
Registered UAS operator
Registered with the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (German Federal Aviation Office) under our own e-ID. Mandatory for any camera drone used commercially, but surprisingly often ignored.
Liability insured
Drone liability insurance in place. This is a legal requirement in Germany, regardless of weight and even for the smallest drone.
Flight zone checked in advance
Kiel lies close to Holtenau airfield as well as harbour and naval facilities, plus protected areas along the Kiel Fjord. We check every location in advance on the official dipul.de map and obtain any necessary permits.
Why under 250 grams is an advantage
Light drones are allowed, under subcategory A1, to fly over individual uninvolved people; heavier models must keep their distance. On business premises with customer traffic, in a residential area or in the middle of a city, that's the difference between "doable" and "not going to happen." We still don't fly over crowds of people, though: that's prohibited regardless of weight, and we stick to it.

Businesses change: a new machine, a rebuilt reception, a freshly painted hall. Once a year we drop by, replace one capture point and bring the tour up to date.

We come to you: Kiel and the surrounding area
Our service area is right on your doorstep. Within Kiel and a 30-kilometre radius, travel is included in every package.
We come further out too: Rendsburg, Neumünster, Lübeck, Flensburg or Hamburg. For that we charge €0.35 per kilometre from kilometre 31, one-way. For several appointments in one region, we split the travel cost between them.
Frequently asked questions about the 360° virtual tour
What does a 360° virtual tour cost for a small business?
For a business with an exterior view, reception and work area, five capture points are usually enough: that's our Storefront package for €259 one-off. In Germany, the market rate for this is €199 to €399. Ongoing costs only arise if you have us host the tour (€9 a month), and for hosting clients even that is free.
How long does the shoot take, and do I have to close for it?
No. Five capture points take about an hour; twenty take half a day. We come at a quiet time and work with a tripod, without flash. Anyone who happens to be in shot we retouch out on request.
Does the tour really end up on Google?
Yes, and we will tell you exactly what that means. The walkable tour runs on your website, where we have full control over it. The individual panoramas are additionally published to your Google Business Profile, where they appear in Search and Maps. Upload and setup are included in every package, many providers charge €49 extra, and Google itself charges nothing. How they are finally displayed and placed within the profile is Google's decision — nobody can guarantee that, and we do not.
Can I embed the tour on my own website?
Yes. From the Tour package onwards, we embed it directly on your site, even if the website was not built by us. With the Storefront package, you get an embed code your webmaster can insert in a few minutes.
Who owns the images?
You do. You receive all panoramas as files and may use them for your business without any time or location limit: website, Google, social media, brochures, trade fairs. We only show your shots as a reference if you have explicitly agreed to it.
We're not in Kiel. Do you still come?
Yes. Within Kiel and a 30-kilometre radius, travel is included: that covers, among others, Eckernförde, Plön, Preetz, Gettorf and Bordesholm. Beyond that, we charge €0.35 per kilometre for the one-way distance.
What's the difference to a Matterport 3D scan?
Matterport produces a walkthrough 3D model complete with a floor plan, and on top of the setup cost it comes with an ongoing cloud subscription. For a workshop, a practice or a restaurant, that is rarely necessary: a linked 360° virtual tour shows the same thing, runs on any phone in the browser and costs no licence fee. If you genuinely need a 3D model with measurements, we'll tell you honestly.
What if something changes later?
New machine, rebuilt counter, freshly painted reception: we swap out individual capture points for €39 per point. The whole tour doesn't need to be rebuilt for that.
