Who is Dachwerk made for?
For roofing companies with one or several crews: pitched and flat roofs, repairs and emergency service, gutter maintenance, and for anyone done with paperwork and the magnet board. Dachwerk never charges per user, from a 3-person crew to a 30-person team; everyone is always included in the package price. To get started we recommend the Basis package from €49.90 per month; most companies choose Pro at €94.90, which adds invoicing including XRechnung, projects and the route planner.
Frequently asked questions
What does Dachwerk cost?
Dachwerk is a subscription with three packages, and hosting, updates and support are always included: Basis at €49.90 per month for up to 5 employees, Pro at €94.90 for up to 15 employees (our most popular package), and Premium at €169.90 with unlimited employees and every add-on module. These are annual-billing prices, plus VAT; billed monthly they are €59.90, €114.90 or €199.90. Basis and Pro can add the customer portal (+€19.90), the Agentur package (+€39.90) and the Einsatz package (+€29.90 per month) individually, and Premium already includes all three. Invoicing including XRechnung comes with Pro, and nobody pays per user.
Can I document storm damage for the insurer?
Yes, and it happens almost automatically: the emergency template creates the job with a call-out fee, the crew takes photos right from the roof that get stored with a timestamp on the appointment, and the comment thread documents the whole process. Add the PDF invoice and you have everything the insurer wants to see.
What about instalment invoices for large roofs?
That is exactly what the project file is for. On re-roofing jobs that run for weeks, appointments and invoices attach to the project, instalments get numbered automatically, and the final invoice offsets everything already issued by itself, actual hours against budget included.
Can I write invoices with Dachwerk?
Yes, invoicing is a core feature, not something you pay extra for. Invoices come straight out of the completed appointment, right after the customer signature if you want it that way, with positions already pulled from the service template. Numbers stay compliant and gap-free, and the number range is freely configurable, so an existing business continues from its last number without a gap. On top: a PDF with your own letterhead, open items, payment reminders and one-click dunning. Prefer to work without the invoicing module? Hide it.
Does Dachwerk support XRechnung?
Yes, invoices export as officially validated XRechnung e-invoices. With public-sector clients and property managers especially, that keeps you on the safe side. Sending happens straight from the system by email, through your own SMTP server or through SendGrid.
Does my tax adviser get the data?
Yes, with one click: the DATEV export produces the posting batch together with every document PDF for the chosen period, ready to hand to the firm.

Yes. Dachwerk runs as a web app (PWA) with its own icon on the home screen. The time clock and the daily tour keep working even without reception and sync as soon as the network comes back.
Does the software run under my company name?
Yes, white-label comes standard. Login, app name and business details all carry your company, and invoices appear on your own letterhead.
What about data protection?
Your customer and employee data stays in your own instance with its own database on German servers, GDPR-compliant and strictly separated from every other company. Roles and permissions decide who sees what, an audit log documents every change, and uploaded photos are automatically stripped of GPS data.
Can Dachwerk be adapted or extended for my company?
Yes. Any module can be switched off on its own, and beyond that, from extra fields up to whole extensions such as quoting or a customer portal, we build additions on request at a fixed price. The quickest path is our ticket system: describe what you need and you get a fixed-price quote back.
Are there any hidden costs?
