Three ways to submit bugs
You decide per project how users report bugs, enforced server-side.
Open
Anyone can report — with honeypot, time-trap, rate limiting and optional captcha.
Email verify
Magic-link confirmation; the bug stays hidden until the email is verified.
Login only
Only logged-in Perfex customers can submit bugs.
Default-deny privacy: public views only ever see a sanitized DTO. Internal fields like assignee, estimates, PII or team notes never leave the admin area.

Frequently asked questions
Can customers report bugs without logging in?
Yes. Per project you choose between open submission (with anti-spam), email verification, or logged-in Perfex customers only.
Are the bug boards public?
Each project can be public or private. Public boards get a shareable URL, voting and status filters — while internal fields stay hidden.
Does it integrate with Perfex?
Deeply: customers, contacts, projects, tasks, tickets, attachments, custom fields, tags, notifications and activity log. A bug can be converted into a task or a ticket.
Which Perfex and PHP version do I need?
Perfex CRM 3.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer (tested up to PHP 8.3).
Is it translatable?
Yes. English and German are included; everything is translatable via standard Perfex language files.
Do I get updates?
Yes. Updates and support are handled through perfexcrm-module.com.
