Starting point

Delivery platforms typically charge between 13 and 30 percent commission per order, regardless of how much margin a restaurant actually has. A restaurant's own ordering page avoids that, but usually means a project of its own: choosing a shop system, building a design, setting up payment methods and delivery zones, arranging hosting and SSL. For a single restaurant that effort rarely pays off; for many restaurants at once, it does.

What we built

Bestelltheke.de is built exactly for that: a white-label system on a shared codebase, where every kitchen gets its own domain, its own database and a choice of ten kitchen designs. It includes a product configurator, delivery zones with radius calculation, online payment and a kitchen monitor that shows incoming orders in real time. Technically the platform runs on TastyIgniter, an open-source base built on Laravel, so there are no per-order license costs and data stays exportable instead of locked into a platform. Billing runs on a small commission or a flat rate with no commission, cancellable monthly, with servers located in Germany.

Result

Bestelltheke.de is live and serves several kitchens in parallel on the same codebase, each with its own domain, its own design and its own data, well below the commission rates of the big delivery platforms.
