Starting point

Anyone looking for a campsite usually compares several countries and regions at once and needs more than a single operator's website for that: an overview that shows offers from different providers side by side, plus real experience from other campers rather than just a provider's own marketing copy. On top of that comes practical trip preparation that otherwise gets spread across several separate sites: packing lists, power consumption, destinations. A plain directory without these extras only covers half of the actual trip planning.

What we built

Campingportal.eu combines a Europe-wide campsite directory with user reviews and an interactive map for location-based search. A blog with travel tips adds editorial content to the directory, alongside practical tools such as a packing list generator for trip preparation and a power consumption calculator that estimates the connection load needed at a pitch. Directory, reviews and map are linked closely enough that a site can be opened and rated directly from the map view, instead of switching between separate sections. The power consumption calculator adds up the individual appliances in a vehicle to work out the connection load, so it is clear before booking a pitch what kind of power hookup is actually needed.

Result

Campingportal.eu was built as one of the agency's own reference projects and brings directory, reviews, map and tools together as one connected platform rather than separate features. The combination of directory and practical calculators covers both the search for a site and the concrete trip preparation that follows, from the first regional choice through to a finished packing list.
