Starting point

Not every tool deserves its own product with a pricing page and support. Some ideas are small, specific and still useful enough to other developers that sharing them openly makes more sense than letting them sit in a private codebase. For a WordPress plugin such as a redirect manager, trust also comes easiest when the community can read the source code for itself instead of relying on a description in a plugin directory.

What we built

github.com/Nicooo76 hosts several free repositories. Smart Redirect Manager is a WordPress plugin that automatically detects changed URLs, sets up clean 301 redirects and logs 404 hits in a GDPR-compliant way instead of storing them permanently, including automatic cleanup of old entries. Alongside it are smaller web tools such as a Coin Flip Generator with realistic animation and history tracking, and a Random Wheel Generator with weighting and a fair mode that runs entirely in the frontend, with no server-side database behind it. Two Telegram mini apps round out the collection, one of them for surveys where users vote on features and watch the results update live. The code is public and commented so other developers can follow it and reuse it.

Result

The repositories are publicly usable and document over 25 years of web development experience through actual working code rather than a list of references.
