Client project: website for a building cleaning company in Kiel with more than nine years of experience, covering eleven services from office and window cleaning to medical practice and post-construction cleaning, caretaker services, winter road clearance and clearance work. It includes a three-step enquiry configurator, dedicated location pages for Kiel, Rendsburg, Eckernförde, Plön, Bordesholm and Neumünster, and a guide section with nine specialist articles. Plain PHP without a database, all text maintainable in one place, Lighthouse 100/100/100.

Starting point

A cleaning company is rarely searched for by name, but by a specific service in a specific place: "office cleaning Kiel", "winter service Rendsburg". A single website-builder page with a list of services cannot serve those searches, because it offers the same page for every one of them. On top of that comes the enquiry itself: someone who needs cleaning wants to state a rough scope without negotiating a quote on the phone first. And the business itself needs to be able to change text and prices later without calling the agency for every small edit.

What we built

lumirex.de replaces the previous IONOS website builder with a custom build: eleven standalone service pages and six location pages for the actual catchment area, each with its own text rather than a swapped-out place name. An enquiry configurator guides visitors through service, property and contact details in three steps, so an enquiry takes under a minute and arrives at the business already specific enough to assess. A guide section with nine articles answers the questions that come up before a booking anyway, from legal duties around stairwell cleaning to what office cleaning actually costs. Technically the site is plain PHP without a database: all content sits in a single text file the owner can maintain himself. Images are served automatically as WebP in several sizes and cached with a version stamp, and the enquiry form sends through authenticated SMTP instead of the unreliable default mail function of the hosting package.

Result

lumirex.de is live and replaces the former website-builder page with 32 standalone URLs that cover each service and each part of the catchment area separately. Lighthouse measures 100 out of 100 for performance, accessibility and best practices, on both desktop and mobile. The business can edit its own text, enquiries run from the configurator straight into the inbox, and the company's 5.0-star rating is visible on its own site instead of only inside a portal.
