Oceanside Performance — osp-performance.de
Client project: website for a chip tuning workshop near Rendsburg that reworks engine and transmission software for cars, vans, trucks, motorhomes and agricultural or construction machinery. Seven service pages from power tuning to EGR and DPF work, four vehicle sections, an enquiry form that only asks for make, model and engine, and a full-width visual menu. The workshop's Google rating of 4.8 stars sits on the site itself, as does its WinOLS licence seal. No consent banner, because analytics run cookie-free through the site's own domain.
Starting point
Chip tuning is sold on numbers: more horsepower, more torque, often straight off a price list, without anyone having seen the vehicle. A workshop that instead reads out every engine individually, checks the result on a logging drive and sometimes says no has to make that difference clear in the first screen, or it gets compared with everyone else. Then there is the range: a hatchback, a 40-tonne truck and a combine harvester have nothing in common except the control unit. And three of the seven services concern exhaust systems that are not permitted on a road-registered vehicle. Leaving them out loses those searches. Advertising them invites a legal warning.
What we built
osp-performance.de is a custom build in plain PHP without a database: 23 addresses, all text in a single file the workshop can edit itself. Each of the seven services and each of the four vehicle categories has its own page with its own text, alongside pages for the process, the service area, common questions and contact. The exhaust topics AdBlue, EGR and DPF are described plainly, each stating that road approval lapses and what the work is actually meant for. The enquiry form sends through a dedicated authenticated mailbox with a DKIM signature instead of the hosting default, with the sender in Reply-To. The site runs a strict content security policy: critical CSS inlined and cleared by hash, not a single inline style, no inline script. Analytics are cookie-free and served from the site's own domain, so no consent banner stands in front of the content and the opt-out takes effect before anything loads. The owner's own workshop photos are built in, and a script mirrors the ECU software licence seal locally before every upload so the seal provider never sees visitor IP addresses.
Result
Live since August 2026. Lighthouse on mobile measures 97 to 98 for performance and 100 each for accessibility, best practices and SEO, checked across several pages. All 23 addresses return 200 and the HTML arrives compressed, 11 instead of 40 kilobytes. Enquiries land in the mailbox signed, and the workshop's reviews sit on its own site rather than only in a portal.
