Putzwerk — the plastering software for office, crews and façade
One system for the whole plastering business. When frost or driving rain makes the plan, it becomes a two-click replan: the façade moves, the crew takes over the interior work. The 150 m² façade itself runs through the project file with budget, instalments and layer documentation.

No more paper notes, magnet boards and Excel
No daily plan depends on the weather quite like a plasterer's. Frost overnight, driving rain from noon, both are stop signs for the façade, and that is when the big reshuffling starts at the magnet board. Putzwerk brings weather-aware dispatching, ETICS project files, layer documentation, machine dispatching, time tracking and invoicing together in one system, built for the everyday work of plastering and façade companies.
“When the weather makes the plan, the boss needs a fast tool.”
A working day with Putzwerk
From the first coffee to closing time — this is what daily work feels like.
-
06:45
A look at the board and the weather
Driving rain is coming from noon. The top-coat site moves via bad-weather mode, and the crew takes over the interior plaster in the new build instead: no lost day, no reshuffling chaos.
-
07:10
The crews grab their iPad
“My tour today” shows each crew its sites, with the packing list (plaster machine, silo connection set, corner profiles) and the note from the customer file: “scaffold is up, silo arrives at 7:30.”
-
09:30
On site
Tick off the checklist: prime the substrate, set corner profiles, apply machine plaster, screed & sponge-float. A photo per work step means the layer build-up documents itself on the side.
-
13:00
The base-course find
The crew reports via comment: “base course damper than expected, renovation-plaster quote needed.” The note lands at the office as rework, and the find turns into the next quote.
-
15:40
Phase signed off
The client signs right on the iPad, and the 2nd instalment goes out with one click from the project file, numbered automatically.
-
16:30
End of the day
Clock out. The hours book to the project, and the daily wrap-up shows actual vs budget: the job is on plan.

Login, app name and interface all carry your company name. Your team sees “their” software from the first login, and your invoices go out on your own letterhead.
Extensible as you grow
Built cleanly and modular from the start: switch off modules you do not need, and additional wishes, from quoting to a client portal, get built as extensions at a fixed price.

Plastering software that reflects the real workday
No daily plan depends on the weather quite like a plastering and façade company's: frost overnight, driving rain from noon, and drying times set the pace regardless. Putzwerk was built for that routine, software for plastering businesses and façade builders that works as well on the scaffold as it does at the desk.
When the weather makes the plan
The 5-day forecast sits right on the dashboard, and when frost or driving rain arrives, it becomes a two-click replan: bad-weather mode moves all façade work of a day in one go, crew assignments stay, and the dispatch board shows via drag & drop which indoor site comes up instead. Interior plaster is the fallback programme, so the crew never loses a day. For winter work, heater and dehumidifier stand ready in the equipment park.
ETICS projects with instalments and layer documentation
A 150 m² façade runs through the project file: all appointments, photos and hours on the job, actual hours against budget, instalments numbered automatically and the final invoice offsetting itself, with XRechnung for housing associations and public-sector clients plus DATEV export. Every layer gets documented too: timestamped photos per work step, such as bonding & dowelling, reinforcement and top coat, put the layer build-up into the file as photographic proof in case warranty questions come up years later.
One plaster machine, many sites
The plaster machine can only be in one place. When creating an appointment, Putzwerk warns about double-booking, the dashboard shows where machine and silo stand today, and care notes like “flush the hoses after use!” hang right on the machine. Façade area, plaster system and scaffold status live in the customer file: calculation basis and tour info in one place, so the crew knows before setting off whether the scaffold is already up.
Who is Putzwerk made for?
For plastering and façade companies with one or several crews: ETICS, interior plaster, top-coat renewal and base-course renovation, and for any business whose daily plan hangs on weather and drying times. Whether 3 employees or 30, Putzwerk never charges per user; the whole team is always included in the package price. To get started we recommend the Basis package from €49.90 per month, though most companies end up on Pro at €94.90, which adds invoicing with XRechnung, projects and the route planner.
Frequently asked questions
What does Putzwerk cost?
Putzwerk comes as a subscription in three packages, hosting, updates and support always included: Basis at €49.90 per month (up to 5 employees), Pro at €94.90 (up to 15 employees, our most popular package) and Premium at €169.90 (unlimited employees, every add-on module included). Prices apply with annual billing, plus VAT; billed monthly it is €59.90, €114.90 or €199.90. For Basis and Pro you can add the customer portal (+€19.90), the Agentur package (+€39.90) and the Einsatz package (+€29.90 per month) individually; Premium has it all. Project files and invoicing are included from the Pro package, and you never pay per user.
What happens with frost or rain?
That is exactly what Putzwerk is built for. Bad-weather mode moves all façade work of a day to another date in one go, crew assignments stay, and the dispatch board shows via drag & drop which indoor site comes up instead. The crew never loses a day.
Can I invoice large façades in instalments?
Through the project file. Instalments are numbered automatically (1st instalment, 2nd instalment …), and the final invoice offsets everything issued by itself: cleanly itemised, compliant, no pocket calculator. Actual hours run live against the budget the whole time.
Can I document the layer build-up?
Yes, with photos and timestamps per work step: bonding & dowelling, reinforcement, top coat. If warranty questions come up, the layer build-up sits in the customer file as photographic proof, permanently findable.
Does Putzwerk warn me about double-booked machines?
When you create an appointment, Putzwerk checks whether the plaster machine or scaffolding package is already scheduled on another site that day and warns immediately. It is a warning, not a block, so you decide. The dashboard widget also shows where machine and silo stand today.
Can I write invoices with Putzwerk?
Invoicing is a core feature, not a paid add-on. Invoices get created straight from the completed appointment, right after the customer signature if you wish, with positions prefilled from the service template. Invoice numbers stay compliant and gap-free, and the number range is freely configurable, so existing businesses continue seamlessly from their last number. You also get a PDF with your own letterhead, open items, and payment reminders and dunning with one click. Prefer to work without the invoicing module? Just hide it.
Does Putzwerk support XRechnung?
Invoices can be exported as officially validated XRechnung e-invoices, which matters especially with housing associations, property managers and public-sector clients. Dispatch goes straight from the system by email, via your own SMTP server or SendGrid.
Does my tax adviser get the data?
Yes, with one click. The DATEV export produces the posting batch plus all document PDFs for the chosen period, ready to hand over to the firm.
What do I need to use Putzwerk?
Just a browser. Putzwerk runs as your own instance with its own database on German servers, and hosting, updates and support are part of every package. We handle setup and data migration, then you get your login and start working. Prefer to run the software on your own server, or buy it outright? Custom solutions are available on request.
Can I test Putzwerk beforehand?
The live demo is open to everyone: a complete installation with a sample company, two crews, 11 kits, priced templates and a running façade project with an instalment invoice already issued. Tap “Als Chef testen” (test as boss) on the login page and you are in. It resets itself every 30 minutes. Want to compare several trades? The demo hub at demos.pixagentur.com shows all live demos at a glance.
Does it work on the iPad and without reception?
Yes. Putzwerk is a web app (PWA) with an app icon on the home screen. The time clock and daily tour work even in shell builds without reception and sync as soon as the network returns.
Does the software run under my company name?
White-label is included. Login, app name and business details all carry your company, and your invoices appear on your own letterhead.
What about data protection?
Your customer and employee data lives in your own instance with its own database on German servers, GDPR-compliant and strictly separated from other companies. Roles and permissions control who sees what, an audit log documents changes, and uploaded photos get automatically stripped of GPS data.
Can Putzwerk be adapted or extended for my company?
Yes. Modules can be switched off individually, and beyond that, from extra fields to entire extensions such as quoting or a client portal, we build additions on request at a fixed price. The fastest route is our ticket system: describe what you need and we reply with a fixed-price quote.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. You only pay the package price: no per-user licences, no setup fee, no extra charges for updates or support. Setup and data migration from your current solution are included too. The only addition is statutory VAT, and you can cancel monthly.
