Web design for Ostholstein and the coast
Your new website — from next door, not from the big city.
Custom websites for businesses in Ostholstein, on the Hohwacht Bay and around the Holstein Switzerland lakes. No page builder, no agency chain, and one contact person who actually turns up.
Where we are
Right here: PixAgentur is based in Behrensdorf on the Hohwacht Bay, a few minutes from Lütjenburg and right on the district border with Ostholstein. Eutin, Malente and Oldenburg are a good half hour away, Plön and Preetz barely longer. This is not a sales territory drawn on a map, it is the area where we do our shopping. If you have a website built here, nobody has to drive up from Hamburg with the return trip already on their mind.
Businesses we have built for
Not showcase projects, but websites that run day to day. Our references are still mostly in Kiel — the work is the same, the drive is just shorter.
Autodienst Kiel
Booking straight into the workshop calendar, quick diagnosis by WhatsApp photo, automatic inspection reminders. In four languages, because the customers are.
Autodienst KielA bis Z Service
Ten service areas under one roof, a cost calculator for a first estimate, an enquiry in under a minute. Our industry software runs behind it.
A bis Z ServiceLUMIREX building cleaning
Website, logo and visual identity from one source — from the first draft to the finished site.
LUMIREX building cleaningWhat short distances actually change
Not every project needs a meeting. Some do.
On-site meetings instead of video calls
If you would rather sit at a table than in front of a camera: within Ostholstein and the Plön district, travel is normally included. For meetings further out we charge €0.35 per kilometre.
Photos from your own premises
Websites get better with real pictures instead of stock-photo smiles. We come by and take them — as a 360° tour too, if you like.
One contact person, not a ticket
You write or call and reach someone who knows your project. No transfers, no rotating project managers.
We understand seasonal business
Holiday lets, hospitality, campsites and trades on the coast: between Easter and October the website has to carry you, in winter it should cost nothing. We plan for that.
Our service area
For on-site meetings we travel across the region regularly — from the Hohwacht Bay into the Holstein Switzerland lakes. Everything beyond that we look after remotely: hosting, maintenance and support never needed a car journey, only availability.
How a project runs
First conversation
Free and without obligation, by phone or at your premises. We work out what the website has to do and roughly what that costs.
Fixed-price quote
You get a fixed price and a date, not an estimate with an open end. What it says is what applies.
Building it
Draft, feedback, build. You can see the current state on a preview address at any time and do not have to wait for a presentation date.
Launch and after
We go live, set up analytics and backups and stay reachable. With a care package if you want one, but never forced.
What does it cost?
The prices are published openly on the service page — including the packages and what each one contains. We consider that obvious, even if the industry does not.
What can go with it
A website is rarely on its own. What else we do for businesses in the region:
Common questions from the region
Are you really based here?
Yes. Behrensdorf on the Hohwacht Bay, Plön district, right on the border with Ostholstein. Lütjenburg is a few minutes away, Eutin and Malente a good half hour. We put “Ostholstein” at the top because part of our client base is there — not because we want to claim an office in Eutin.
Will you come out for a meeting?
Yes, and around here that is usually a short drive. Within Ostholstein and the Plön district, travel is normally included. Plenty of projects also run entirely remotely — that is your call.
Do you only work for businesses in the region?
No, part of our client base is further away. On-site we only work in Schleswig-Holstein, but we look after clients across Germany.
We are a seasonal business — is it even worth it?
Especially then. If you live off Easter to October, the season is decided the winter before: visibility on Google, a booking or enquiry path, pictures that show the area. A website finished in March has already missed half the season.
Do you build with WordPress?
If it fits, yes. But we also build without a page builder and without a CMS when that makes a site faster and easier to maintain. The technology follows the project, not our convenience.
How long does a new website take?
A landing page one to two weeks, a typical company website four to eight weeks. In our experience the biggest delay is not us, but getting text and photos out of the business.
Let us talk about your website.
