Newsletter — Customer Care Without Tracking

Email campaigns go exclusively to customers who explicitly consented, optionally filtered further by a tag and previewed as a test mail to yourself first. Sending runs throttled in the background; every email carries an automatic unsubscribe link. Nothing gets tracked.

Sending a campaign to the entire customer base even though nobody ever actively consented is easy to do. It's just as easy a way to get a cease-and-desist letter. That's why the Cockpit sends newsletter campaigns exclusively to customers with recorded consent: a checkbox right in the customer file, or via CSV import with the source noted. When you set up a campaign, you see live how many customers currently consent, optionally filtered further by a tag, say only "regulars" or just one particular region.

You write the subject and body with the placeholders {name} and {firma}, which get swapped for the real values automatically at send time. A test email to yourself shows you exactly how it'll land in the customer's inbox first. You start it immediately or schedule it for later. The actual sending then runs throttled in batches of around 40 emails per maintenance run, instead of firing every email at once and overloading the mail server. A scheduled but not-yet-started send can be cancelled again at any time.

The Cockpit automatically appends a personal unsubscribe link to the end of every email. One click, and the customer permanently stops receiving further campaigns, no questions asked. What's deliberately missing: any open or click tracking. No tracking pixel, no obscured links, no report on who opened what and when. It's a privacy argument that sells just as well to your customers as it does to your own lawyer.

Campaign Detail: Counters, Recipient List, Status per Recipient

After sending, every campaign shows three counters at a glance: sent, failed, unsubscribed. Below that, the full recipient list with status and send time per customer, filterable by exactly that status.

Just like the automatic Google review requests, every piece of customer communication stays documented and traceable this way: who was reached when, who unsubscribed, and where something went wrong.

Unsubscribe With One Click, Permanent and No Questions Asked

The unsubscribe link leads to its own confirmation page. One click on "Yes, unsubscribe" is enough, and consent is withdrawn immediately. No campaign reaches that customer again afterwards.

This public confirmation runs entirely without a login, just like the separate customer portal for questions about ongoing projects, both deliberately kept as lean as possible, with no forced customer account.
