Invoicing fits construction: instalment invoices are created with one click from the project file, numbered automatically (1st instalment, 2nd instalment), and the final invoice offsets all issued instalments by itself, cleanly itemised and compliant. Public construction contracts require the officially validated XRechnung export. It is built into Bauwerk, along with DATEV export, open items and one-click dunning.
Equipment dispatch, bad-weather mode and the site app
Expensive machines deserve dispatching. When creating an appointment, Bauwerk warns if the mini excavator or formwork is already scheduled on another site the same day, so nothing gets double-booked and nobody has to search the yard. When the weather turns, bad-weather mode moves all outdoor work of a day in one go. Out on site, progress documents itself: timestamped photos and the comment thread replace the site diary, while access, crane position and site power sit in the tour view, so the driver knows before setting off.
Who is Bauwerk made for?
For small and mid-sized construction companies with one or several crews: shell construction, foundations, conversion and demolition, outdoor works. Also for every business still running its sites with a magnet board, shouting and Excel. Whether 3 or 30 employees, Bauwerk never charges per user; the whole team is always included in the package price. To get started we recommend the Basis package from €49.90 per month. Most companies choose Pro at €94.90, with invoicing including XRechnung, projects and the route planner.

Bauwerk comes as a subscription in three packages, hosting, updates and support always included: Basis at €49.90 per month (up to 5 employees), Pro at €94.90 (up to 15 employees, our most popular package) and Premium at €169.90 (unlimited employees, every add-on module included). Prices apply with annual billing, plus VAT; billed monthly: €59.90, €114.90 or €199.90. For Basis and Pro you can add the customer portal (+€19.90), the Agentur package (+€39.90) and the Einsatz package (+€29.90 per month) individually; Premium has it all. Project files and invoicing are included from the Pro package, and you never pay per user.
Can I issue instalment invoices?

Can I see whether a site is within budget?
Yes, live: the crews clock onto the site, and actual hours run automatically against the project's hour budget. The project file shows at any time where the job stands, no waiting for a recalculation months later.
Does XRechnung work for public-sector clients?
Yes, invoices can be exported as officially validated XRechnung e-invoices. The e-invoice is mandatory for public construction contracts, and Bauwerk keeps you on the safe side there. Dispatch goes straight from the system by email, via your own SMTP server or SendGrid.
Does Bauwerk warn me about double-booked machines?

Yes. Bauwerk is a web app (PWA) with an app icon on the home screen. The time clock and daily tour work even in shell builds without reception and sync as soon as the network returns.
Does the software run under my company name?
Yes, white-label comes standard. Login, app name and business details all carry your company, right down to the letterhead on your invoices.
What about data protection?
Your customer and employee data sits in your own instance with its own database on German servers, GDPR-compliant and strictly separated from other companies. Roles and permissions decide who sees what, an audit log tracks every change, and uploaded photos have their GPS data stripped automatically.
Can Bauwerk be adapted or extended for my company?
